Music has always played (and still plays) an important role in my life.
I'd rather sit down and listen to some music than watch TV. My MP3 player (yes, they do still exist) is always with me.
I can still remember when I was a little(-er) boy listening to the records on the record player and tapes on my father's Uher tape recorder.
Every Sunday morning my sister and I played records.
Later I got my own soundsystem and listened to my music in my room (also partly because my parents weren't very interested in my music).
As well as listening to music, I've been a bit of a musician as well. Not only in a local brass band, where I played tuba for more than 20 years (yes, I'm that old already), but also behind the PC where I make (or more accurately: made) my own music.
I still have a Roland Sound Canvas SC-8850, but I only use it now for playing back my own songs or listening to some MIDI files.
My taste in music varies quite a lot.
Here's a short list of what I like (the most):
Occassionaly I might throw in a blog post about music. But they'll be far and few in between...
